Who deserves a vote?

Over the course of using Bigger Pockets I have had very degrees of opinions on who I should vote for concerning a post.

When I first started using Bigger Pockets, I was too naïve to even think of voting for someone that took the time to answer one of my post.  Later on, I started voting on people that took the time to answer my post or question if I liked their answer.
Now I’ve started even hitting likes on some people‘s replies, even if I don’t fully 100% agree with what they have to say if they’ve taken the time to answer in a cordial manner.
Of course I still vote on people’s post that has nothing to do with interacting with me.  If someone is exceptionally hostile in their replies to someone else, even if I like the content, I typically steer clear of voting for that particular post.

There are people that I like most everything they say, but I don’t always vote for them every time because I don’t wanna make it weird. Lol.

What’s your thoughts?
