Investors Biggest Regrets from my Experiance
From 6 years of being in real estate, I’m far from an expert, but the three regrets I hear the most are:
1) I wish I started sooner
2) I wish I bought more
3) I wish I never sold
My takeaways from these stories are
1) Start today
2) Buy Smart
3) Think long-term

Quote from @Jonathan Greene:
I agree with number 3 the most, as most of us who have been in the game for over 30 years will all say we shouldn't have sold so much. I do think new investors suffer from an overabundance of short-term thinking right now.
Regarding number 2, I think your takeaway to buy smart is different than a result of wanting to buy more. People want too much, too many doors, too much cash flow without realizing that more doors equal more problems and more cash flow can mean more cap ex in general.
Great points! I agree with #2, more isn't always better.
