Is creating a syndication worth it? Lawyer recommendations for real estate partnershi

Hey BP Fam! 

I am wondering if creating a real estate syndication is worth it? I am purchasing properties with 3 other partners and I am doing all the leg work (sponsoring the deal basically). One partner insists on doing things as a C-Corp for tax reasons. I don't know very much about taxes / why to file a business a certain way. Also, do you have a contact for any lawyers or advisors that can help setup the syndication & advise us on why to set it up that way?
