Furnished or Unfurnished SFR in West SF area

Posted

Hi all,

Wondering if any folks have any recent experience renting out furnished SFRs in the West San Francisco area (Oceanview/Ingleside/Westlake /North Daly City area).

My family and I own a single family in this area, which we've been living in for a few years. We just purchased another home in the area that we are moving to, and are keeping our current home as a rental. We are debating whether leave all of our furniture, and rent as a fully furnished.

Wondering if folks have any advice on whether fully furnished will make it easier to rent, and/or pull a rental price premium in this area, or whether it's not worth it. Curious whether there's much interest for corporate housing, travel nurses, or other 1 month+ rentals.

Unfortunately for a few reasons, we don't have time to test the waters for both and was hoping to leverage the wisdom of the crowd!

Many thanks in advance for the advice!
