Looking for a savvy handyman who wants to learn about REI
Hi BP Friends! A friend of mine is a real estate investor in San Diego (North county area) and is looking for someone on a part-time basis to help with supervising and fixing up his rental units. He's been an REI for the past 20 yrs and loves to get his hands dirty, but given he has limited time is looking for someone to be his right-hand man. Not only is this a paid gig, but you'll get to pick his brain and see how someone successfully runs 50+ multi-family units. The types of things you'd be helping w/ run the gamut:
- Supervising and coordinating w/ plumbers, electricians and other subs to do the work, track their work to completion, be on-site
- Getting your hands dirty and doing some work yourself (like installing dishwashers, lighting fixtures, cosmetic construction work, landscaping, painting) & other related tasks
- Price comparing appliances, coordinating pickups, drop offs of appliances etc
- Deal with both workers + tenants (if need be)
Looking for someone who:
- Can think quickly, is resourceful and has common sense
- Very familiar with construction and being handy (ideally used to be or is in construction)
- Tech savvy
- Is okay with working 10-20 hours per week and can be flexible with the # of hours of work
The gig would be paid hourly & be a part-time gig but could turn into something full-time.
Ping me if interested!
