Design-Build Firms in LA?

Has anyone here used a design-build firm in LA for a rehab project that they really like?

I'm purchasing a triplex that will need a gut renovation. I'm looking for a builder that can do more than your typical rehab. I would like someone that can help with designing the individual units and rethinking the spaces to maximize longer term value (potentially adding new additions, etc). I know they will likely cost more than the cheapest options, but ultimately I'm OK with that given the deal and upside potential.

I invest primarily in Portland, OR and typically see the best ADUs and rehab projects being done by these "design-build" firms that take an innovative and thoughtful approach to their projects that are super "Instagramable".
