Covid - Tenants - Selling SFH

Angela Brooks
Posted

Hello All,

I am a newbie and friend of mine recommended I reach out to this group helping me sell my SFH during this pandemic. I am putting my uncle's SFH for sale in Los Angeles. The house is currently rented and has a tenants in place. I am total newbie to this and volunteered to help my elderly uncle to navigate the process.

What are the things to take into consideration during this time, what are the legal ramifications selling a house during covid. I think it would be best to have the tenant vacate the house and then make all necessary repairs and then put it for sale. Any recommendations what you would do to make this a smooth process. Is it easy to get the tenant out with the moratorium?

Thank you so much and I really appreciate the feedback from the real pro's! It is very unprecedented time and I know there are many variables.

Angela
