Question for investors on gentrification! LA/Boyle Heights/In Gen

Paige P.
Posted

Hi everyone!

My name is Paige, and I recently just graduated from Loyola Marymount this past month. I'm currently writing an article for the Boyle Heights Beat about gentrification in that area.

I'm interested in hearing from the perspective of real estate investors on the topic. The article focuses on BH and Los Angeles, but if anyone has general comments from their own city, I'm more than happy to hear them.

I'm interesting in knowing what concerns you when investing in a property in a certain area, what housing laws from the areas you operate in frustrate you and why, and what you think the best way to operate as a landlord is. How do you handle evictions, etc.

I would love to be able to talk to as wide a variety of you all as possible. If it's easier to just comment below, please do that.

Looking forward to learning more about your perspectives! Thank you.

Paige
