Question about my habitat house

Rose Barr
Posted

Hello! I’m a current Habitat home owner. We have lived here for 7 years & with the real estate market continuing to thrive as well as home improvements we’ve made, our home value has nearly doubled. I have taken an interest in real estate investing. I am interested in getting a heloc or home equity loan to start investing in real estate however I’ve heard that it is frowned upon for habitat homeowners to do so. I saw some positive forums on here about similar situations & I was wondering if anyone who is familiar with the habitat program has any information or advice on how we should begin our journey of becoming investors. Thanks in advance for any responses.
