Stragety for Auctions and Foreclosures

While looking around for deals, I’m noticing a TON of homes in my area for Auction and Foreclosure! Thinking about buying a few, but Ive never done this before.

I wanted to see if anybody has successfully taken advantage of the deals? What’s the beat way to invest in these types of homes that are up for auction and foreclosure? What are the pros and cons? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
