Transitioning Properties from Family Ownership to an Entity
We own two properties and (adjoined) two lots in a reasonably strong rental market outside of DC. We would like to sell the properties to new buyers but retain management of them (both are leased but due for rent increases).
Is there a more/less efficient way of doing this or is the most straightforward route to sell the properties and 1031 in to new investments?
