Lady wants to give me her lot?

My assistant just called me last night (she rarely calls me unless it's something important) she tells me that a lady said she wanted to give us a lot all we have to do is take over the back taxes which are $900. The area isn't all that great but darn if I can't make money off a free lot then I shouldn't be in this business.

I've never dealt with lots before but this is to good to be true. I'm going to get a title search on it and try to sell it to the neighbors if that doesn't work I may try to sell it for a quick profit and let someone else take over the payments.

What would you guys do?

A few years ago I found a cheap lot on Craigslist and looked at it. It was in a bad area and needed a few thousand in clearing and debris removal. After evaluation, I decided zero was too much to pay. I would not bave believed that "free" could be to0 much to pay before then.
