@Dustin Burke I have not heard anything bad about Mitch, ever. 

The whole owner financing thing is not really something that you should need mentoring on though. It is another tool in your tool belt. 

You borrow some money on a house that you find through your marketing, wrap the loan to the new homeowner with owner financing. Charge a little more on the price, little more on the interest rate. Do a bunch of them.

Make sure you have an RMLO if you are doing more than 3 per year in Texas.
