Seller won’t allow addict is inspection

I’ve submitted an offer to buy a home for my family and I. We love the house and have scheduled our inspection for tomorrow.

I’ve learned the seller is refusing to allow the home inspector to look inside the addict. Sellers agent has told my agent that the seller is spazzing out on her and irate. He’s worried that loose insulation will fall out in his closet and make a mess. We’ve already explained we would bring a tarp and shop vac. Obviously, it appears he is hiding something but he could also be an old grumpy guy and there’s nothing wrong in the addict.

No chance I’m doing the deal without my inspector looking inside the addict space.

What does the BP community suggest we do to get this seller to chill out and let us inspect the house we really like.
