How do credit partners work?

Hello everyone, I need help with something. I am new to real estate and have been attending real estate meetups near me and have been learning a lot from talking to people and watching videos on BP. Like many newbies I’m struggling on how to get my foot into the real estate business. I was checking out real estate jobs on Craigslist and found a listing that went something like this:

CREDIT PARTNER WANTED WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS A CREDIT SCORE OF 700 OR MORE. I AM LOOKING TO EXPAND MY BUSINESS. I HAVE 10 YEARS OF REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE AND AM WILLING TO TEACH AND MENTOR. OPEN TO FUTURE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY. (He claims that you can make around 50k to 70k a year)

He wants to meet and before I do that I have a few questions about this.

1. In your opinion Is this person real or fake? I’m skeptical because I found him on Craigslist after all.

2. How do credit partners work and ways to safeguard yourself so your credit doesn’t get ruined.

3. In your opinion is this a good way to start in this business or am I just crazy and naive to even consider this option.

ANYONE THAT HAS EXPERIENCE IN THIS MATTER, YOUR HONEST OPINION WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
