Buying Property Sight Unseen

Denise Finney
Posted

How many of you have purchased property sight unseen, either in your local market, regionally, or out-of-state? What's your experience and what are the pros and cons of doing so?

@Denise Finney good question...its a bit technical...personally, I've submitted offers on somewhere around 100+ properties sight unseen...but have always seen them during due diligence.

We work almost exclusively with out-of-state clients and they routinely buy "sight unseen." But we always do a full video walk through, estimate renovation costs, assist with inspections, etc...so, they all technically "see" the property prior to closing.
