Self-directed IRA to invest in real estate.

I recently switched jobs and currently debating on what to do with my 401k, now that I have options to do a roll over into my new company's plan, roll into a self-directed IRA, etc. I heard that you can use a self-directed IRA to purchase real estate. Does anyone have experience or know any reputable brokers, small banks, or attorneys in Cincinnati, Ohio that I could meet with about using retirement funds to purchase an investment property?

@George Evans I used Dimtriy and Sense Financial. They walked me through the whole process. They do a great job!
