Has anyone invested in 500k-1.5M internet businesses as an LP? Wondering what the typical returns are? My understanding is that there that there are three rungs: 1) "Garbage" companies think penny stocks - poor return/risk profile 2) 500k-1.5m companies (20-30% a year???) 3) 5M and up? Institutional grade that is syndicated? Its not like hard collateral which is how I am wondering how it is factored into the demand for the investment on comparison to real estate.
