Buying property through family member or friend

Hi there

This is an odd one.

A difficult neighbor is selling a lot between our homes. The land is next to my house. She offered it to me for triple the market rate based on comps in the area and I told her I've no interest.

I am interested in buying it at the going rate per sq ft. I believe if she thinks Im not interested she'll sell to someone else at that rate. I can pay cashbut my question is, has anyone got any creative ways of buying real estate through someone else so my identity is hidden?. e.g. a friend or family member buys it and I buy it from him for the same price.

I know its a strange one but would appreciate any suggestions.
