Handwritten direct mail in Silicon Valley

This is my first post, but decided I'd jump in somewhere.

I thought everyone would find this direct mail article interesting.  Surprising to me that in an area and industry (Silicon Valley and tech) where entrepreneurship is revered, this homeowner is surprised and somewhat dismissive of a realtor leaving a handwritten letter referencing clients with $ to spend who want to live in the area.  Realtor leaves handwritten letter on Google employee’s doorstep offering to buy house
