Good vs. Bad Credit, Marriage, and buying a 6 plex.
So I have a question. My fiancé and I have been engaged for a long time. We both want to get married this year, however I have good credit and she has very bad credit. We both want to buy a 4 to 6 units apt complex this year as well. I am wondering if it will wreck our chances of doing so if we get married sooner than later. Are there any ways to avoid the negative impact of her credit, or is there a way to purchase property under an LLC or without involving her credit? Thank you for any advice you have.

Do you need her income to qualify? If not, just apply for the loan in your own name. You are not required to both be on the loan.
Good luck!
