Has anyone has considered student-focused housing in the Clear Lake City area of Houston?

The UH Clear Lake campus recently expanded to 4-year university. They don't seem to offer any housing after freshman year. Students I've known usually find an apartment or condo in the area. But, some of the neighborhoods near campus could provide excellent student housing opportunities.

This could also apply to interns at the many local engineering firms and Johnson Space Center.
