I am a Full Time Real Estate Investor in the Charlotte, NC area and own a good size rental portfolio and I am considering setting up a REIT structure. If you have personal experience setting up a REIT, please provide some details on your experience (good, bad, and ugly) to different aspects of setting up a REIT. Would you do it again? Why or Why not? My intent is to raise more capital and take my business to another level.
