Owner occupant/LLC

Hey everyone,

I am planning to purchase a property under an LLC and then live in the said property. I am a part owner of this LLC. I have a private lender whom the LLC will pay a mortgage to.

Would it be legitimate for me pay rent whilst living in the said property and also be part owner of the LLC whom the rent is being paid to?

Benefits are: I am paying "myself" rent rather than someone else. I am willing to pay the rent and be a good tenant seen as though its "my" property.

I would only do this until the LLC had saved up enough for repairs to justiy someone else paying the rent.

Thanks for any advice.
