Redemption Rights

Has anyone out there been successful in mortgage states at purchasing redemption rights from home owners who have foreclosed?  Are there any tips or secrets to your success that you could share?  I have done very well buying homes off the courthouse steps in a Missouri but it is a entirely different process in Kansas.  I have already been actively testing the water and acquired two homes in 2016 but I am trying to create comprehensive system to increase inventory and reduce risk.
