lease option to buy after Auction.

I suffer from analysis paralysis syndrome and am constantly listening to podcasts, self help books, like some on this forum. I find myself sometimes overloaded with info and waiting for that Matrix moment where everything clicks. My question is intended to learn if my idea is plausible where two sides can benefit.

I will provide the question first and then some history.

Have there been situations where and agreement has been made with an investor and potential client (home buyer) to assist in purchasing a single family home from an Auction then providing a opportunity for a lease to own option or standard financing?

History:

My wife is born and raised in South Orange County and is very close to her family, thus strongly influencing our living situation to be her vs somewhere else. We both make above avg income, but still never see the chance to have a family home because of these high prices. There is this property a block away from my kids school that i have my eye on that is now up for Auction, which sparked my inquiry.

Thank you BP forum.
