REAL TECH: Augmented Reality in Real Estate

As a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, I am always monitoring startup technology to see what and how new technologies will apply to my business... In addition to remote/phone unlock door technology, I recently wrote blog posts about software (docusign, etc.), mini-units, co-housing, and co-working (See my LinkedIn profile for these).  I also recently wrote a blog on augmented reality and its likely impact on various areas of real estate (architecture, development, sales/marketing, and investment). 

Virtual reality is already being used in sales, leasing, development, architecture, etc...It's likely that high-end condo projects in San Francisco will utilize VR and AR as part of their sales strategy. 

What do you think?  

Anyone have any thoughts about how augmented reality (AR) will be used in real estate? 

Are there other technologies that you're seeing being used?

What technologies would be helpful in your business that haven't yet been developed?
