Many people do on-market wholesaling. However, I can't advise you on it since I focus on off-market deals. But I do know that the approach is quite different because you're dealing with a realtor instead of the seller directly.

Are you talking about buying properties off of the MLS to then resell? If so, this is the quickest way to get investors to stop opening your emails and picking up your phone calls.

Good wholesalers are able to generate off market leads. Focus on that first, because if you can't do that then it's hopeless.
