Converting Hotels to Apartments
BP Nation,
I am closing on my first hotel conversion on Halloween in Branson, MO, and I am just looking to network with some other investors in this space, hear about your experiences, and share ideas.
My project will be converting a 152 room hotel into 143 units (6 buildings), mostly studios and 1 bed units. Heavy lift on the construction side with fire suppression and electrical upgrades eating up a lot of the budget. Fortunately, we were able to get the property under contract for a steal ($10K/door). Would love to hear from others!
