Rent by the Room Advice
I am looking at buying a small single-family home witing walking distance of a college campus. I am looking at the route of renting it out by the room. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about that? I know I need locks on every bedroom door, plan on having a maid come in once a month to clean the common area. I assume I also have to pay utilities. How would I structure the Lease and what rule should I have in place? Can I make it male or female only? Please give me any tips or pointers!
