Good evening BP community!

My name is Chris Rogers and I’m located in Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve been listening to bigger pockets for a while now and reading and listening to everything I can about real estate. My background is diverse with a mix of construction, military, and property insurance. I’m currently in class for my real estate license and hope to share my time between real estate and my amazing 2 boys  who are under 2. Next step is to start wholesaling to build capital to fund my own  future investments.
My question for the more experienced investors is with the current market being so hot, especially in a large competitive market like Phoenix, if you were starting with $0, what path would you take?

Thanks so much and I can’t wait to network and grow with you all! 🙂

If you have your real estate license, why would you hustle to become a wholesaler? Median home price is around $400k. If you find a listing and sell it for $400k at 3% commission, that's $12,000. Do that once a month and you've got a strong income.

I recommend you study the market and then hustle to find people motivated to sell. Wholesaling is not a career and requires the same amount of hustle for less reward, in my opinion. Focus on building your real estate business.
