Looking in the Montgomery Area

I am currently looking at long distance markets to invest in. I wanted to choose something out of state, but I also want it near my state. What areas would you suggest I look in? Currently, I am looking at multifamily investing, but I am open to look into single family if it's worth it. Once I find a market, I will start building my Core 4 in that area. Hi Everett! Montgomery is a great area to invest in. I'm local in town, raising my family here and also looking to do the same. Have you made any headway since your initial posting?
