Is there a demand for more home inspectors central Alabama area?

My husband and I are both considering going into Real Estate investing.  He would like to start as a home inspector both to generate a little extra cash flow, network with like minded individuals and to help in determining if properties are right for us to invest in.  Is there still a demand in and around Birmingham or is the local market flooded with home inspectors?
