Rampera pandemic rental assistance in Mississippi
Hi..I hope I'm in the right place. I applied for rental assistance thru Rampera in Mississippi on May 26, 2021....long process, OMG, anyhow they finally paid my landlord on August 26th for 14 months of rent..3 of that was rent forward, so she accepted, agreed to all terms and cond..etc. but now Hurricane Ida hits LA. And all the sudden she puts the house i rent up for sale..gotna buyer within 4 days. Tells me I got 30 days to move , not written notice yet a week later..well inspection came...not good ...buyers back out..but she still says I have to move. Can she do this while I'm being assisted..I thought NO. I have done nothing wrong to be evicted.i have kept the place up, made it better , whereas she makes no efforts to repair anything. .she says she thinks it would sell faster if the house was empty. I have nowhere to go , not working due to pandemic, and I'm paid up on back rent plus 3 months ahead. She signed paperwork that she cannot evict me during that 90 days..now I don't know about if the house sells but it didn't sell..sorry so long winded..I'm just hurt and angry as I've done so much for her and I have 3 weeks to find a place and I have a daughter too and also having major brain surgery for removal of a tumor compressing optic nerve severely behind my eye 6 days after I'm supposed to be out with tons of doc appt in between. It's just wrong and a lowdown strike on her part...this hurricane hits and bam , jacks up price of what she was told in past she could get for house and then didn't even sell cuz so much is wrong apparently..just a bad situation.
