Need a recommendation for a professional building inspector in Centralia, WA
I'm looking at a multifamily fixer in the South Sound area below Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia. Centralia, to be exact, about 50 miles from Hoquiam. I found comps and the numbers pencil out nicely, if there are no major structural issues.
It's an old building and the listing agent, who I trust, says that there are no major structural issues. But, I want to get a solid professional opinion on this before I close the sale. I'm willing to pay a fair price for the service.
It would be nice if this also included a firm bid for any major repairs, with no guarantee that I'll hire. That's why I'm willing to pay a fee for their time.
Can anyone recommend a good building surveyor/contractor who works in this neighborhood?
Thanks!
