Virginia Private Lenders and Group funding Question

I have two contracts that I need to close on in the next 7 days.   I had a partner who was bringing capitol.  He backed out on me.  I am looking at Mortgage brokers and Private lenders and I am not sure which is better.   I have great credit, I prefer private lenders for the lower rates, but I have yet to find one with enough online background or info to feel comfortable offering my personal info.

Help!!

I would appreciate any advice.   Has anyone had positive experiences with private lenders  in Virginia.  Are there any mortgage lenders with decent rates/ fees who can fund pretty fast?   Any thoughts or suggestions?     message me @Karen P
