Any Investors in the Harrisonburg Area?

Hi all,

I am fairly new to the BP community.  This is actually the first time I've contributed.

Are there any people in the Harrisonburg area?  It would be interesting to chat about the local market.

I know I am a little late (1 year) but I am moving to Harrisonburg and was looking for investment properties there. I ran into the same issue. The numbers just don't add up on the investments that I am looking at. Everyone is selling at or above the tax valuation with little chance for added-value impovements. I would like to house hack with a couple of student but I am not sure where to find good deals besides the MLS and Zillow. Glad to see some other people talking about this out of the way area!
