Brand New to RE, Networking Opportunities?

Account Closed
Posted

Hi, I'm brand new to real estate and I'm trying to find any networking groups or events in the area. I'm in Barre now, but looking to do an owner occupied multi-family in the Rutland area. Travelling a little bit to make connections and learn more isn't an issue, but I'd definitely like to know if there's an active community in the area.

I'm also interested in to any tips you might have for beginners. I've been looking into multi-family rentals as my main focus, preferably starting with a VHFA or FHA loan, but I've also been thinking about wholesaling as a way to raise money.
