Finding people to do open houses???

Has anyone had success having a non-realtor do open houses for you? If so how did you find a reliable person and what kind of pay did you give them for their time? I’m not against realtors doing an open house, but not all realtors would even want to do an open house these days. If you did pay someone to do an open house what would you pay them...by the day, by the hour etc. we’re not looking for someone to sell the property, but simply have the house available for people to walk through and those  that show interest we can follow up on.

Put an ad on Craigslist for a representative to walk properties. Interview them to ensure they can speak well and understand what needs to be done. Then have them on a pay by property they walk.  $50-200 per property showing.
