Texas Real Estate Investing with Duplexes and Fourplexes

Matthew Reed
Posted

Is McAllen,TX a good place to purchase multifamily?

Me and my wife live in our owner occupied Duplex here in San Antonio and are wanting to va Loan a fourplex but done know where. San Antonio doesn't have a very large market for them unless they are new builds and over priced.

I've been looking at McAllen, TX and maybe some other medium cities.

Advise please and thank you!!

Hey @Matthew Reed there are lots of duplexes and fourplexes around town you just have to go find them!!

There are some right off of Timberpath and Culebra, there are some off Newcome and Cambray, Fred May right around the corner, off Poss rd in Leon Valley, off Broadview and Bandera and that is just the northwest side that I am familiar with.

Whoever told you that you have to move to or find deals in another city is either very lazy or does not know how to find deals.
