unemployment claims shrinking substantially in Austin Texas metro
Weekly claims in Austin metro is shrinking considerably from a peak of 14,585 in March 21 to 1904 as of August 11th per Texas Workforce Commission. What will happen when the bars, restaurants, coffee shops and other hospitality industries are in full operation post covid 19? Austin will be back in the 2-3% unemployment range again, I bet.
