New Investor Looking to Connect with Syndicators in Houston

Hey Bigger Pockets,

I am a new investor from the Houston Area looking to participate in a multifamily or mixed-use syndication deal as a limited partner. Being new, I would like to participate in a more passive role in order to gain exposure to the syndication process by learning from the sidelines. Ideally, I would like to connect with sponsors that specialize in a strategy somewhere in the range of value-add to core-plus, as those strategies are best aligned with my personal risk preferences.

I’ve browsed these forums for a while and I know how helpful y’all can be, so if you know of any parties that would be good to connect with please let me know! Also, if you have any advice on getting started as an investor in these types of deals, I would also appreciate that insight.

Thank you in advance!

@Tyler R Cox I've been doing deals in Houston for the last 5 years with partners. Are you trying to do deals yourself or be a passive investor?
