What is the best way to find CRE investors?

My team and I have found a new deal for a commercial real estate investment in San Antonio. We need to raise quite a bit of equity investment - about $5.3 million. Most real estate investing companies that I know find their own deals, but are there companies or private equity family offices that are looking to passively invest in real estate? Where would you look for large investors that could contribute $500K?

Look for a local real estate meet up.  You want one that is geared towards commercial investing.  Also, network with local private/hard money firms.  I realize you don't want a loan on your property but these firms know the people with money.  Finally, look at the tax records and determine who owns commercial real estate in Houston or large tracts of land.  You want to identify individual owners not large syndicates, then start calling and see if anyone is interested in hearing your pitch.  One last option, contact the crowd funding platforms or existing syndicates and see if they are willing to help you put a deal together for a share of the equity.  Good luck.
