Airbnb-Powered Home-Sharing Hotel Coming To Austin

AUSTIN (Austin American-Statesman) – A new high-rise hotel that will allow buyers to purchase units and rent them through Airbnb will soon be underway.

The 33-story Natiivo Austin will be at 48 East Ave. and include 249 units priced from the $300,000s to $1.2 million.

The hotel will include coworking spaces, a cafe lounge, fitness center, rooftop pool deck, 24-hour concierge services, and valet parking.

This is the first of a new hotel chain by NGD Homesharing, in a partnership with Airbnb.

Those who rent space through Airbnb will be part of their Friendly Buildings Program, in which hosts and property managers share revenue. Owners can also list their units independently or with Natiivo management service, who will book the rooms based on market rates.

The project is being developed by Newgard Development Group and Pearlstone Partners.

Construction will start this year with completion set for September 2021.
