Austin Brokerage Recommendations and Info
Good Afternoon Everyone,
My wife and I are moving to Austin next week to pursue our real estate investments full time, and also become agents. We've passed all of our coursework and are scheduled to take our exams, and would love to hear any recommendations on brokerages to get in touch with, your experiences with any you've been a part of, what the desk fees and splits are like in the area, etc. We've got a few interviews setup already, and would be interested to hear thoughts from those in the area. Thanks so much for your time and assistance!

@Rob Stein An early welcome to ATX! I'm sure you already know, but it depends on what environment you're looking for. I work with a well established independent brokerage, Austin Texas Homes, and could not be happier. Very investor friendly, no desk fees, fair and simple splits. If you're a self-motivated, independent worker who would benefit from plugging into established relationships with real estate vendors and services, we may be a fit for you and your wife. I sent you a PM if you'd like to talk further.
Don't forget your sunscreen!
