Arlington Texas for investment rental property

Nick Dooley

Hey everyone,

Does anyone own any rental properties in Arlington texas? What kind of occupancy rates are you seeing? Is this a good area to be buying in? I'm currently looking at houses in the 100-150k and 150-200k  range. 100-150k it seems I can charge 1200-1300/month, and with 150-200k around 1600-1800/month

From my research it seems Arlington has very low crime, good population growth, decent schools, parks/trails, and some big tech companies over there.

This would be my first rental property, I'm considering doing an all cash deal for this one, and then financing for my next properties.

Ps. If your a real estate agent in the arlington area, let's connect.

Thanks!

@Nick Dooley hi, I am also looking in to the Arlington area. From what I have seen it is about a 1% market at the MLS list price, so if you search long and hard for a great deal I think it could be a good place to invest. I am also new at this so take it for what it is worth. I have seen higher taxes than many places so keep that in mind. I have been using an app called deal check to dig deeper in to deals and it has helped a lot. I would love to talk about the area and investing in general so please bounce any ideas off of me if you would like.
