CPA with REI experience needed , Don't want to overpay
Hello fellow BP investors,
I'm a physician and recently started investing in real estate . I'm looking for CPAs with experience with RE investors, for possible tax planning and tax preparation . Since I will only own 3-4 properties by the end of this year I want to avoid overpaying for high end CPAs who work with seasoned investors with hundreds of properties. Any recommendations ? Also is it better if they are local CPAs ( I live in Houston,TX) or any CPA should be fine ?

Hi @Moe Soliman ,
Location isn't the most important thing when looking for a CPA. Value and synergy are far more important, in my opinion.
That said, if you prefer someone locally, @Michael Plaks is right in your backyard.
If you're open to working remotely, there are a few of us here on BP who specialize in real estate and work with clients nationwide. Speak to a few and see if there's a good fit.
Good luck!
