Stewart Title Plant Tour
I got the opportunity this week to attend a tour of the Stewart Title Plant in Austin, Texas. This plant holds the oldest titles in Travis County, dating all the way back to when Texas was the Republic of Texas. During the tour, I was able to see various handwritten title books and maps of Texas dating back to the 1830s. It was amazing to see the history behind the company and how far we have come in technology. Not only did I learn more about the industry, I gained knowledge and amazing facts about the history of Texas as well. Getting to see the progression of Stewart Title and Texas throughout the centuries with real artifacts was awesome. I had a great experience on the tour and encourage anyone interested to go!
