Newbie in Central TX

I currently live in Austin, TX and would like to start networking with other BP members that are familiar with the investment landscape in Central TX. I am very green, but have a general understanding of the rental market space, as my family owns several units in Southeast TX and I have worked for a mid size property management company in the past. I am currently in sales and really enjoy meeting new people. Please let me know of any meet ups that you feel may benefit a guy in my position. I am open to all suggestions and questions. Thank you very much!

Long term Goals:

  • replace my current income w/ cash flow generated from a well balanced portfolio
  • build portfolio of several multi family units
  • no interest in self managing

Short term Goals:

  • build network
  • find very specific target markets
  • execute on two single family units or one multi
