How fast can I get a tenant? Investing inside loop (Houston, TX). I am planning on purchasing a single family home (2-3 bedroom). How fast can I expect to find and move-in a tenant? How much work will it take for me to get someone?

Do you make more money renting single rooms or with 2 people per room? Do you think I can rent out the living room if my SFH is only 2 bed room (1700 sqft)?

If its priced aggressively, I'd say within a week, but if you try to rent individual rooms its a lot more work for slightly more return.

Living room--probably not, its Houston, not Manhattan or SF
